Associate Audio Producer / Editor, PODCASTS
WWE is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-orientated Associate Audio Producer/Editor to work within WWE's ever-growing Advanced Media Group to report into the Producer of Podcasts. This position will create, produce and execute on all aspects of audio production for WWE's PODCAST NETWORK including guest booking, research, writing, recording, mixing and more. This creative, curious and driven team member will also be responsible for staying up to speed on show analytics and collaborating on marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Keep up to date on storylines across all brands: RAW, Smackdown and NXT
• Work closely with Producer on all weekly podcast talking points, show rundowns and scripts
• Collaborate with Audio team at TV to develop original sound design
• Edit and produce podcast trailers / teasers / feed drops
• Coordinate all host and guest bookings within Talent Management System
• Organize staff for weekly studio show
• Travel to TV and live events to batch record and edit podcasts, working closely with Producer on format and cuts
• Track and organize incoming ad copy, set recordings, edit and deliver to sales
• Output cuts for creative review working under supervision of show producer, make quick-turn revisions and QC content
• Mix and upload final mp3s to hosting platform, and set required ad markers
• Archive raw recordings and final edits to Media Asset Management Team
• Responsible for weekly music cue sheets submissions
• Provide research on competitive shows, networks, podcast platforms and tech
• Stay familiar with performance analytics and promotion across podcast and social platforms
• Contribute to pitch and story development for future shows
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of related work experience in Podcast/Radio/Digital audio formats
• Effective story-telling and writing abilities
• Experience with studio recording, remote recording /podcast production equipment
• Adept in Adobe Audition, Slack, and G-Suite (Sheets / Docs)
• Capable of handling and organizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven track record of creative and innovative thinking, action and results
• Able to thrive and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-based, ever-changing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Deep product knowledge of current and past WWE shows, talent and storylines
• Willing and able to work in Stamford, CT as well as travel/work weekends
• Clean driver's license
• BA in Communications, Film/Media, Digital Media or related field of study
