Full Time Job
The Assistant Content Publishing Specialist is responsible for processing and assigning descriptive and structural metadata to WWE video content on WWE Network and other digital platforms. In addition, the Content Publishing Assistant will support WWE's video management organization methods and companywide metadata systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality check, process, tag and define original, clip and archival content on digital and social platforms
• Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands, and products
• Timely processing of video assets against multiplatform content calendar
• Master and enforce content publishing guidance
• Help maintain video management system database with proper quality and stylistic control in tagging as well as freeform written descriptors
• Compose titles and descriptions for WWE video content for all platforms, using editorial judgment, grammatical precision, and search engine optimization tactics
• Act as a key resource and authority on WWE metadata/tagging standards and principles
• Comprehend platform nuances and deliver assets in accordance with business rules, style, and best user experience
• Coordinate with photography and visual design staffs to select and assign user-optimized imagery for all videos
• Retroactively apply and augment metadata to existing library of content assets
Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of current and past WWE TV shows, talent and relevant details strongly preferred
• Precision in spelling and grammar
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
