Role: Manage studio and staff, project coordination, wears many hats and helps each staff member accomplish what they need to do.
Responsibilities:
- Studio Management
- Studio calendar (deadlines, rehearsals, holidays, etc)
- Hold weekly staff meetings (go through all projects, deadlines, concerns,
questions)
- Dropbox
- Tech: Computer, wifi, network, tech issues
- Coordinate meetings for people coming to the studio
- Cleanliness
¦ Book housekeeper once every 2 weeks or as necessary
¦ Make sure everyone takes out their trash and picks up after themselves
- Keep stocked: snacks, refreshments, water, bathroom supplies, cleaning
supplies ,office supplies
- Fresh flowers for studio, water plants
- Bring in mail
- Answer studio calls
- Staff
- Approve staff days off, keep track on calendar (make sure they are not needed
and approve on case by case basis)
- Coordinate staff work travel
- Address staff concerns
- Manage website (work with web developer)
- Project Management
- Keep track of all ongoing projects and upcoming projects on a worksheet
- Keep track of all bill backs for each project and send to accountant
- Put decks together (InDesign)
- Keep staff on track for deadlines and manage workflow
- Obtain information, schedules, dates, venue info etc (and put in Dropbox)
- Find freelancers for projects and confirm day rates
- Create formal binder presentations for clients and for records
