Wild Woods Picture & Sound / XTracks, an expanding multi-platform post production facility is seeking Full Time Picture Supervisor to manage Color, Online Finishing and VFX services and workflows.
Areas of Responsibility
Creative and Technical Workflow design, client management and relations building, staffing, and departmental management as it relates to color, online finishing and VFX services.
Knowledge / Requirements
Technical and creative experience in post-production workflows as it relates to:
* Unscripted
* Documentary
* Film
* Scripted Episodic
* Digital Media
- Secondary picture workflows and developing services:
* HDR
* Versioning
* Localization
- Advanced knowledge of Color and Online Finishing process.
- Advanced knowledge of VFX, GFX, Motion Effects, Titles and Blur creation and restoration.
- HD - 4K post production workflow requirements.
- HDR - 8K post production workflow knowledge and technical understanding.
- Manage, prepare and deploy WPD (workflow process document) information to picture staff.
- Manage and provide workflow information, documentation and assistance to project management staff for scheduling purposes and client facing support knowledge as it relates to picture finishing.
- Strong experience with DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Premier, and After Effects.
- Ability to operate systems to assist with workflow requirements a plus.
General Requirements
- Vet and maintain talent pools and operator resources for Project Management staff to have available for scheduling.
- Ability to introduce new technology, industry advancements and software/hardware solutions to the picture department.
- Oversee technical repairs, installations and updates.
- Ability to prepare equipment/space expansion plans, vet equipment suppliers, price compare and present cost analysis and options for development purposes
- Strong client communication skills.
- Strong time management and detailed organization skills.
- Strong departmental leadership management, training and career path encouragement skills.
- Work well with other department leaders and staff with a high level of respect.
- Maintain a calm and professional attitude and demeanor to ensure stability and confidence with staff and clients at all times especially under pressure situations.
- Ability to make clear and precise decisions based on the best interest of the clients and company.
- Willing to accept complete accountability and responsibility for departmental operations and results.
