Wild Woods Picture and Sound is an Independent Post Production Facility located near Universal Studios.

Local candidates only please, we can not hire remote for this position. Must be able to commute to our office and work on-site.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for the accurate tracking of all digital and physical media assets that move through our facility.
Specifics include loading media to our internal servers, communicating with PMs and Operators when new media has come into the facility, uploading delivery files to networks, notifying the appropriate email contacts when files go out for delivery, and managing our LTO archives for backup and restore.

Success in this role is defined by precise data management and effective communication with project managers and facility operations.

Required Skills:
- Understanding of working in a shared storage and shared project environment.
- File transfer protocol including Media Shuttle, FrameIO, Filemail, and Aspera.
- Proficient with TeraCopy for LTO backups and restores.
- Understanding of video file format creation including Quicktimes, MXFs, IMFs, DCPs, Blurays, and DVDs.
- Ability to work under pressure while staying positive and solutions oriented.

A background of Computer Science and/or Basic Scripting skills (Python,Linux,Unix,Java) is a major plus.
Ability to provide Evercast coverage for streaming client supervised reviews is a major plus.
