P/T Graphic Designer
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a P/T graphic designer (2 partial days/ week) who can help us source, manipulate and place visual assets on our website and social media outlets, as well as edit stills from our videos. The role collaborates closely with the website's editorial team, so the ideal candidate is someone who loves working with others, but is also self-directed and resourceful. A sense of humor is a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quickly present multiple thumbnail concepts for each new post on the website
Source images from large stock libraries
Edit stock images, namely adjust specific colors and backgrounds to match our color palette
Sustain and continue to develop organizational systems for our company-wide image collections
Work closely with our Managing Editor to also create visual assets for various social platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, at a minimum; Even better if you're comfortable in After Effects and can do simple motion graphics
Must be efficient, well-organized, and communicative on email; Role requires a strong work ethic and ownership in final product
Should have a solid understanding of image rights
