Job Description:
Wayfarer is looking for a creative, experienced, hands-on Head of Sales to help expand Wayfarer's sales of Linear, Digital, and Commercial content. This role will report directly to the Company's CEO and will oversee the following roles: an Account Manager, a VP of Brand Sales (Commercial), a Vice President of Content Sales (Digital/ Linear) and a VP Brand Product Integration and Brand Management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, charismatic, thoughtful and passionate about Wayfarer's mission. We are looking for someone who can think big about the company's overall mission and mandate but also be able to roll up their sleeves and dive in, to creatively and tactically bringing projects to life.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales Department Team
- Meeting and/or Exceeding Wayfarer's sales targets
- Develop relationships with Distribution pipelines
- Provide feedback to the Development Team in regards to the meaningful content buyers are looking for
- Represent Wayfarer, its Mission in the most esteemed forms possible.
- Develop and execute sales pitches in coordination with other Wayfarer resources
(Salary + Commission)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 4-7 years of Linear/Digital sales experience
- Strong interest and familiarity with online video, social influencers, and the larger online entertainment ecosystem - from Amazon and Netflix to YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Musical.ly, etc.
- Highly organized and able to quickly break down and communicate creative concepts.
- Strong eye for talent and talent development.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Adobe product suites.
- Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude.
