Watson Design Group is an award-winning creative boutique specializing in digital storytelling, online development, and social media. We are imaginative, innovative, and driven by our passion for interactive design and community engagement. Projects we've brought to life include campaigns for A Ghost Story, The Jungle Book, and The Hunger Games franchise as well as experiential features for League of Legends and X-Files. We've had the pleasure of working with clients from Disney to A24, Lionsgate to Warner Bros., and are constantly looking forward to creating new, exciting digital marketing and social initiatives. We are not afraid to challenge ourselves and push the envelope of what's possible, setting our goals high and keeping our eye on the digital horizon.
Responsibilities:
Develops and applies quantitative and qualitative analytic method to identify, collect, process and analyze small to large social media datasets for marketing campaigns.
Creates project-based reporting decks on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for clients and internal stakeholders.
Works with data creatively to come up with actionable insights across all campaigns.
Creates insight-rich social listening reports for pitch decks and brainstorms.
Devises new ways to present learnings; tweaks or builds custom Excel and/or Google Sheet documents to track campaigns more efficiently.
Keeps up to date on new developments in social platform reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years experience in a similar role.
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong grasp of data visualization techniques (charts, graphs, diagrams etc.).
Understanding of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Instagram insights, and additional reporting platforms.
Must think Excel and Google Sheets are rad instead of bad.
Familiarity (or interest) in natural language processing (NLP) packages like NLTK or statistical computing platforms like R is a plus.
Familiarity with paid media is a plus.
