Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), located in Washington, D.C., is one of the largest integrated sports and entertainment companies in the country with one of the most diverse partnership groups in all of sports. MSE owns and operates seven professional sports teams: the AFL's Baltimore Brigade and Washington Valor, NBA's Washington Wizards, NBA G League's Capital City Go-Go, NBA 2K League's Wizards District Gaming, NHL's Washington Capitals and the WNBA's Washington Mystics. The company is also co-owner of aXiomatic, which has controlling interest in global esports franchise Team Liquid, and owns and operates Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. MSE also manages Kettler Capitals Iceplex, the state-of-the-art training facility for the Capitals and EagleBank Arena on George Mason University's campus. A new sports and entertainment venue in Southeast D.C. on the St. Elizabeth's East campus, in collaboration with the District of Columbia and Events DC, will feature a first-in-class training facility for the Wizards and Mystics and will additionally include a 4,200-seat arena which will serve as the new home court of the Mystics and Go-Go. MSE also co-owns and operates Monumental Sports Network (MSN) with the NBC Sports Group. MSN is the mid-Atlantic region's top destination for exclusive fan experiences and creative sports content across desktop, tablet, mobile and OTT streaming devices.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for generating maximum revenue through the sale of full season, partial season and group sales for the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals. Also, responsible for generating maximum group sales revenue for family shows that take place at Capital One Arena and the Patriot Center.
Responsibilities:
• Sell Washington Wizards/Washington Capitals ticket plans as well as family show group tickets to businesses and individual consumers via aggressive telemarketing, face-to-face presentations and all social channels.
• Use enthusiastic tactics to build new sales opportunities.
• Develop prospects by calling on self-generated leads and provided lists.
• Handle in-bound sales calls from prospective customers.
• Establish professional relationships to create repeat business.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
• Set up and maintain up-to-date records on existing customers and prospects in team database.
• Work home games for the purpose of developing new prospects, servicing customers and performing other miscellaneous game night duties.
• Work family shows events that you have sold tickets for and to meet your clients and/or be available if any problems arise
• Attend B2B networking events.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in sales.
• Extraordinary work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a real passion for sales.
• Competitive nature and positive attitude.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and produce results, while being self-motivated.
• Professional phone sales technique and skills.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and work extended hours.
