Position Overview: Coordinate Wizards home game logistics including leading part-time staff, floor direction and stage management, and game-day entertainment organization.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as Stage Manager for all Wizards home games
• Assist with development and design of game-day and event show content, organization for run-of-show, and script writing.
• Assist with floor direction and stage management for all Wizards home games, including managing game day staff.
• Coordinate Wizards home game logistics, including halftime entertainment, anthems, and other special entertainment.
• Collaborate with the Game Presentation department and Corporate Partnerships department on developing content in order to enhance the team brand and meet partner objectives.
• Maintain master schedule of game night activities, including preliminary, back-stage, and in-game activities in relation to the Wizards.
• Responsible for Game Presentation staff booking inquiries, game-day scheduling, and assignments.
• Work closely with Game Presentation interns to ensure that they remain on task in preparation for upcoming games.
• Act as liaison between all game night staff and the Director of Game Entertainment and VP of Game Entertainment.
• Point of contact for all Video Production elements including, but not limited to Marketing, Commercial Spots, and Corporate Partnership requests, and any other Video Production needs within Game Operations for Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
• Assist in all off-season activities related to Wizards Game Presentation, including entertainment squad try-outs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-2 years of event operations, production, or sports management experience.
• Working knowledge of the production industry, new equipment, and programs used to develop in-game content.
• Ability to manage, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work outside traditional office hours.
• Highly motivated and self driven.
