Position Overview: The part-time Media Relations position will assist the Washington Capitals Public Relations team with game day duties during Capitals preseason, regular season, and playoff home games throughout the 2021-22 season.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with media lounge and press box set up.
• Deliver credentials to media.
• Distribute statistics between periods.
• Record postgame audio.
• Support game day and special event needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous public relations, communications, or journalism experience is helpful.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast paced work environment.
• Hard working, detail oriented and results driven.
• Strong communication skills, customer-service oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and on a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Flexibility to work most Capitals home games including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
