Full Time Unpaid Internship
DC Comics seeks a Virtual Talent Services and Business Affairs Intern, Summer 2021 for the Talent Services department. Working with both the Talent Services and Business Affairs teams, intern will have projects with exposure to the DC library, talent database and talent deals/contracts.
The Daily
• Assist Library staff in the organization and regular maintenance of library assets which include rare and old comic books and collectibles. Duties include scanning, filing, and character/story research.
• Assist with database updates for title management, scheduling, and contact information among others.
• Assist teams with regular mailings of material to creators and overall support.
• Help maintain the accuracy of metadata for projects (books, periodicals and digital items) in company databases through regular checks and updates.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
The Essentials
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows required.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and handle multiple tasks.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures as well as standard report and letter formats preferred.
• Familiarity with comic books, comic book history and DC characters a plus.
Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
• Summer 2021 program dates are June 7th - August 13th; must be available for full program duration.
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule.
• Fully remote/virtual experience; company owned laptop provided for the duration of the internship program.
• Salary based on office location; relocation is not provided.
