Overview:
Warner Bros Discovery is recruiting for a Marketing CRM Specialist to join its EMEA Retention Team. The role will be working on discovery , a direct-to-consumer video subscription service.
The successful applicant will work closely with the local marketing teams to steer, plan and execute CRM marketing campaigns across multiple channels; including email, push and in-app messaging. The campaigns will be designed to engage, retain, “winback” and up-sell customers for new entertainment shows, major sporting events and strategic lifecycle campaigns.
The Marketing CRM Specialist will work within a broader global marketing team and be expected to work
across all EMEA markets at times.
Responsibilities:
• Driven by customer insight, working with the Southern Europe Retention Manager, execute the strategy and plans with a focus on in-life communications to improve subscriber engagement, loyalty and retention.
• Supporting the delivery of a best-in-class multi-channel CRM programs. Key channels currently include email, mobile messaging, and web.?
• Definition of a contact plan and support the local team in the newsletter planning and operations
• Ensuring the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities.
• Create and execute targeted campaigns that leverage top entertainment shows and major sports events.
• Using propensity models, optimize emails through A/B and multivariate testing: template, segmentation, personalization, offers, content, calls-to-action, timing and frequency.
• Create benchmarks and working with the CRM data analyst track performance.
Qualifications:
• Experience in planning and creating email marketing for a consumer-facing organization, ideally with exposure to subscriber business models.
• Experience in email fundamentals and best practices: deliverability, segmentation, KPIs, etcetera.
• Performance and results focused, eager to drive continuous optimization across programs.
• Good creative, customer segmentation and analytical experience.
• Aptitude for working in an agile “test and learn” environment.
• Fluent English in both written and verbal forms.
• HTML experience
• Adobe Photoshop competency is a bonus
• Passion for the streaming environment and sports is a plus.
• Well-organized and detail oriented
• A curious mind, always looking for new opportunities and never standing still.
• Team player who can see how CRM operates within a broader marketing strategy.
