The Warner Bros. Discovery UK and Ireland Publicity department constantly strives to create and maintain a best-in-class position within the industry. The publicity team is tasked with strategically positioning, promoting but also protecting the launch of all WBD titles.
Your Role Accountabilities...
This role is broken down as follows:
• Administration:
• Daily delivery and analysis of cuttings
• Materials Management
• Mailing list maintenance and upkeep
• Analyse competitor publicity activities and campaigns
• Monitor performance of select suppliers
• Deal with telephone and email enquiries from the press and public
• Upkeep of forthcoming projects document, press releases and distribution
• Report management
• Upkeep and distribution of weekly publicity meeting minutes.
• Organization and filing of magazines, newspapers, and specific film coverage
• Screening Management including booking, logistics and RSVPs
• Liaison with the wider WBD PR admin team re consolidation, support, and innovation across the whole WBD slate
• Tour management:
• Junket and premiere logistics
• Tour assistant during tours
• Run tour meetings
• Merchandise management and distribution
• There will be limited diary management for the VP of Publicity
To complete these projects, you will need to liaise with company personnel both in the UK and US, by telephone, email and in person. You will need to be a confident communicator. You should have good research skills and follow through on projects ensuring their completion.
Qualifications
& Experience...
• Proven experience working in a film PR department over multiple projects through the film's lifecycle is needed
• 1+ years of experience with executive diary management is required
• Excellent (fluent) working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience of using databases
• Working knowledge of all social platforms
• Must be well organised and disciplined with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.
• Must be self-motivated and work with limited supervision
• Must be able to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
• Must be analytical and pay close attention to detail including spelling
