The Job
WarnerMedia seeks a Project Management Manager for the Reporting & Decision Support Services department.
The Project Management Manager is responsible for managing the department work list (typically continuous ~40 projects due within a 0-3 month timespan and an overall roadmap of over 80 planned projects), project planning (e.g., creating milestones and target dates), participating in, and/or overseeing projects including monitoring progress and controlling time management.
You will run multiple weekly team meetings (project task list review; report review) dispersing and collecting latest statuses on new and existing projects and provide timely updates and expert direction to Operations Lead and Department VP as needed. Participate in, review and approve PUT and UAT testing results and operational readiness. Document finance process guidelines and procedures where applicable.
Where applicable provide updates to stakeholders (e.g., Finance - GBS) as needed keeping them informed and satisfied the entire way.
You will coordinate the facilitation of discovery and requirements gathering phases to understand planning aspects of end-to-end system testing considerations accordingly for successful rollout of projects. You will play the most pivotal role in continuous project and task check-ins within the team and working closely with the various departments (e.g., Project Management team, Business Operations, Finance, Planning, etc.), to understand deliverables and business changes in order to maintain or shift project timeline(s) accordingly.
Must be customer-service oriented with significant experience managing projects and possess documentation, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization. Candidate must have the ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic business environment. Strong Power Point and Word (documentation) skills and capable of leading project initiatives is essential.
The Daily
• Manage DSR department roadmap, incl. projects and critical detailed tasks (e.g., AVOD launch week) and provide team with consistent and timely updates (e.g., shifts in/out)
• Coordinate discovery/requirements gathering phases; planning; end-to-end testing considerations. Responsible for continuous project and task check-ins; maintain or shift project timelines as needed
• Run multiple weekly team meetings (task list review; report review) to dispense latest collected statuses on new and existing tasks and provide timely updates and expert direction as needed
• Liaise with various departments (Engineering Project Management [TPM]) as it relates to in progress projects and tasks coordinated with Engineering and the Business
• Write-up end-to-end processes (flowchart/narratives), adj existing ones (wiki page documentation on reports, systems, schemas, etc.) - to use for requirements gathering projects (Subscriber Source Standardization) and process overviews.
• Participate in, review and approve PUT and UAT testing results and operational readiness
• Admin tasks for established merchant accounts, gateway, payment portal (Stripe, dLocal) as required
The Essentials
• Minimum 7+ years relevant public or public / private work experience working across multiple technical projects. Experience as Project manager is preferred, Entertainment industry and / or multinational business experience, a plus
• BS in Accounting, Finance
• Ability to drive definition of project scope, develop detailed project plans and facilitate the collection of engineering, operational and business requirements
• Ability to manage the direction of the group while maintaining a detail-oriented perspective.
• Outstanding multi-tasking and problem-solving skills while working in a deadline-oriented environment and delivering high priority projects, requiring trade-offs and negotiations with partners and stakeholders (i.e. Product, Engineering, Finance, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate solutions and features into intuitive business concepts
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment.
• Advanced communications skills (written/verbal) between business and technical groups
