The Job
Tracking & full management of all broadcast tape, digital assets, and support deliverables from ITVP internal producers and external producers.
The Daily
Media Ingestion
• Expectation & tracking audit of all broadcast tape and deliverables for programming from all internal and external producers
• Work with TVP International Production team on third party produced programming in production introducing the deliverable specification pre-production
• Companywide communication on the expectation, tracking and final sign off & delivery of all broadcast assets and deliverables
Media Management
• Ensuring all tape & deliverables are delivered in time and to the correct specifications
• Manage the translation and/or subtitling of video content with a third-party company
• Transcoding, editing, and clipping video files and uploading all content
• Managing the upload of third-party producer video onto YouTube for copyright protection and monetisation
• Liaising with broadcasters on technical queries and assisting on solving any material issues
• Tracking and compiling broadcasters' standard technical delivery requirements
• Requesting high resolution video files / audio stems from producers
• Upload of high-resolution video files allowing access to all collaborators and external editors
• Coordination of urgent video edit requests and supporting the mastering team and Tech Ops
Media Storage
• System preparation of ingested materials via WB bespoke system 'Gatorsky'
• Management of all physical and digital inventories stored in archive houses, movement tracking and fault resolution
• Raising purchase orders on SAP for all servicing needs
• Handling any purchase order issues such as missing or incorrect invoices
Colleague/Client Communication
• Manage a productive and healthy relationship with internal and external producers
• Support for ITVP on editing, clipping, encoding, transcoding digital assets
• Ensure internal producers are keeping an inventory on all assets
• Point person at ITVP for all courier deliverables
The Essentials
• Postproduction, production, or broadcasting experience in the media/entertainment industry
• Knowledgeable of current industry standards and of tape on international standards (M&E / textless elements etc)
• High sense of organisation as well as good communication skills.
