The Job
We are looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for guiding and overseeing development teams in the consumer data space partnering with technical leads, developers and technical product managers. Your role will be responsible for ensuring that the scope, deliverables and timelines are met by managing all aspects of a project life cycle including project planning, development, change control, implementation, issue management, client relationships, and team leadership. This is accomplished through effective communication and facilitation skills, risk analysis, organization skills and attention to detail.
The Daily
The Program Manager will work directly with our various internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff and department managers, as well as with development teams to ensure successful translation of requirements into high-quality software. Job Responsibilities:
• Provides day-to-day guidance of team (including PMs, Developers and QA) and serves as the liaison to Data, Privacy and Brand development teams
• Coordinate and collaborate development teams during their implementation of data related systems
• Communicate concise and regular status with various levels of domestic and international leadership
• Create budgets and manage team work to those financials
• Proactively identify variances to project plan and partner with key stakeholders to develop a successful mitigation plan
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards - Influence decisions through effective communication methods
• Provide clear and reliable communications to internal teams, program stakeholders, external vendors, and customers - Develop and monitor program policies processes, standards, governance, and metrics
• Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies and expense reduction in programs
• Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Facilitate large meetings including technical, legal, ISO and executives
• Determine resource roles needed and work with management to secure project team members
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (cross functional teams ranging from management to platform teams and clients) to define, develop, shape and refine requirements of complex products at the heart of WarnerMedia's business
• Work with development teams to continuously improve product ownership and other agile processes
The Essentials
• Expert in agile development practices (especially Scrum and / or Kanban), methodologies and tools
• Outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills
• 2+ year of program management with technical teams
• 4+ years of project management skills
• 4+ years Scrum experience, with at least two as ScrumMaster (CSM strongly desired)
• Knowledge and experience working with data, cloud storage, analytics and privacy (ie: CCPA or GDPR) a plus
• Ability to understand and abstract complex systems from technical descriptions
• Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
