Location: Mexico - Mexico City
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This role is intended to lead, organize, and push forward the support for the Field and Studio Production as well as post-production and non-linear operations, relying on the technical departments. Should be a generalist TV engineer and have solid know-how in relation to the design, re-design and continuous improvement for Live TV and Original Content production related workflows.
ACTIVITIES:
• Determine best practices and tools and lead the implementation supporting the engineering areas.
• Understand and lead the implementation for technical production tools such as VR engines, shooting equipment, studio needs sizing, automation tools, etc. from the operational perspective.
• Follow up closely on issues, troubleshooting and communicate with the support teams in a more accurate way than the end users.
• Design new deployments as needed and oversee related implementations both in studio or field. Build documentation and lead internal trainings.
• Lead pre-production technical surveys, evaluate and approve vendor proposals.
• Keep track and validate pre-production workflows, define infrastructure needs and track the start-ups with the related technical teams (internal and external).
• Determine new operation needs and sizing.
• Evaluate and find synergy opportunities with existing operations.
• Lead end-to-end deployment for the operational and technical matters.
• Test new tools and new releases for the existing ones.

• Oversee the whole production operations, work with stakeholders and end users in order to implement the accurate solutions for each need as designed.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external production players.
ESSENTIAL:
• Years of experience: 5 on media / broadcast industry.
• - ?Degree or equivalent experience in? - Audiovisual, Electronics or IT engineering, with focus on TV applications.
• - ?Experience in? - Engineering support areas maintaining TV/Cinema production facilities.?
• - ?Experience in? - Engineering support areas maintaining non-linear editing and color correction tools.?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in? - Live production systems, studio facilities such as video switchers, camera systems (TV and Cinema), studio automation, VR/AR, lighting technologies and sound production hardware.?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in? - Audio and Video formats, codecs and wrappers (including UHD and cinematographic formats).?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in? - Audio/Video standards (UHD, SMPTE-2110).?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in? - Color correction, including HDR workflows, Gamma curves and LUTs.?
• - ?Ability to? - focus on results and deadlines.?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in?? Project management tools (MS Project, Visio, etc.).?
• - ?Broad knowledge and experience in?? NLE and Color tools (Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).?
