Manager, Social Insights Tech (Temporary)

The Job
WarnerMedia seeks a Manager, Social Insights Tech (Temporary) for the Social Portfolio department.
The Daily
• Reporting into the Senior Director of Social Strategy & Partnerships, this role will act as the insight tech lead for WM Social Co/op, responsible for synergy and knowledge sharing efforts between the 30 global WarnerMedia Social Teams across News, Entertainment, Sports, and Streaming
• Lead monthly meeting series for the social team brand analysts and researchers to talk vendors, methodologies, and case studies
• Lead x-promo social insights tech opportunities for both Warner Media business and franchise priorities as well as large industry initiatives, such as portfolio-wide pre and post audience and campaign analyses, audience affinity analyses, etc.
• Help shape brand and portfolio standards for social insights, including platform-agnostic reporting, north-star KPIs, etc.
• Conduct ad hoc social listening and/or competitive analyses proactively and reactively both at the portfolio and brand level to inform further procedure
• Consult with brands as needed on any social projects requiring audience/consumer insight, industry, product, or data components of social strategy
• Matchmake the brands to the right vendors, tools and 3rd party partners based on brand needs, serving as the as day-to-day liaison for social tool vendors with high x-brand adoption
• Lead social insights tech education and advocacy efforts, evangelizing the value and implication of social, particularly when it comes to content analysis – this includes developing materials, resources, events and other activities in line with social content creation best practice, for both brands and WM Studios
• Contribute to weekly and quarterly WM Social Co/op internal communications, The Scoop, playing point on Case Studies and the Industry section of our weekly newsletter
• Act as in-house SME and thought leader for emerging platforms, technologies and products relative to insights and technology

• Minimum of 5 years in a lead analyst role in the media or entertainment industry, preferably on the brand-side or at a top agency or consultancy.
• BS/BBM in mathematics, statistics, management, business, marketing, entrepreneurship or related field.
• Experience with Sprinklr, Listenfirst, Shareablee, native insights tools, etc.
• Knowledge of WarnerMedia brands and their interface with the media industry
• Ability to coordinate with various types of people and personalities across multiple departments and levels of seniority.
• Good judgment, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Positive attitude and high level of professionalism.
• Impeccable written and spoken communication skills, articulate and energetic and thoughtful.
• Experience in a Center of Excellence (COE) environment is a plus.
