Location: United Kingdom - Leavesden
One of the independent production teams onsite at Warner Bros. Studio Leavesden are recruiting for an Electrical Trainee to join their Electrical Department. The production team will be looking after the recruitment process for this exciting opportunity.
Department Overview:
The Electrical Departments primary responsibility is to provide power to all electrical kit on set. Under the direction of the Director of Photograph and the Grip, the department is responsible for executing the lighting for each shot on a production.
The Job:
Support the floor electricians, bringing equipment to them, and generally supporting and assisting the department to achieve its tasks throughout the day.
The Daily:
• Maintaining a well organised equipment base on set
• Assisting in keeping equipment trucks clean and tidy
• Bringing equipment to and from set
• Lifting and moving of equipment
• Sometimes requires working at height on gantries/ ladders
• Ad-hoc support for the department
The Essentials:
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• Previous experience not essential, but an interest in the film industry and electrics is beneficial.
