Full Time Job
The distribution role in each country shall via different external cooperation's work to secure future growth within B2B sales channels (Affiliates/MVPDs.)
The Daily
• Management of B2B distribution business for Sweden
• Strategic planning in business and new business development in Finland and Baltic. Syncing B2B and DTC business to secure streamlined activities and strongest brand exposures in Sweden
• Act as a local point of contact to our external partners
• Develop current partnerships and renegotiate existing distribution agreements
• Manage sales budgets by monitoring monthly subscriber base and revenue flow - and act accordingly
• Organize and maintain sales operations
• Understand the partner processes in terms of sales funnel, customer service management and marketing processes
• Identify and drive sales campaigns, bundles, and promotions
• Align all marketing communication activities to match HBO's tone of voice to secure strongest message and help building the brand
• Create ambassadors for the brand
• Be a strong relation driver for our partners
• Provide local market updates or research for new opportunities and challenges
• Identify new partnerships and negotiate new distribution agreements aligned with WM's vision.
• Local responsibility for the launch of HBO Max
• Ad-hoc task or projects such as Events, Customer service educations, in-store activations, and new staff training.
The Essentials
• Relevant experience from the TV/media industry
• Contract negotiation
• Business development
• Strong business and relationships management with exceptional oral and written skills.
• High level analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret and make data-based sales recommendations. Client focused approach to trouble shooting and resolving problems.
• Strong knowledge on the Telco and Pay-tv business and SVOD streaming market in Spain and Portugal. Thorough understanding of the current TV Distribution models at Telco's and deals structures.
• Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level (articulating long term plans for growing adoption in partners) and at the tactical level (execution of the plan)
• Bachelors degree or Equivalent
• Ability to work well with deadlines, with validated experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
• A strong interest in Content distribution, along with marketing, Tv business and partnership trends.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal and presentation skills with an affinity for driving enthusiasm in other team members.
• Proactive, self-starter approach with the ability to execute in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Results-oriented, upbeat, and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed and to challenge how things are made.
