ABOUT
B/R is launching an exciting new initiative focused on building immersive digital experiences to help redefine consumption for the next generation of sports fans. We aim to showcase emerging technologies, design, new media, social experiments and more – challenging the status quo in an ever-changing media landscape. Join our incubator as we explore the uncharted, making and breaking things along the way.
We are looking for an energetic self-starter to create new and differentiated digital experiences and design-forward experiments – balancing big ideas with audience expectations and trends. The ideal candidate has an open mind, a strong POV, the ability to ideate and create and a deep understanding of emerging technology and social consumption.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CREATION
• Create unique, forward-looking digital/social experiences
• Lead creative projects with a strong POV
• Provide art direction on collaborative projects
• Prototype designs for collaborative efforts with teammates/3rd parties
• Create pitch decks to best articulate ideas
• Manage and direct 3rd party partners keeping projects on course, schedule, budget
IDEATION
• Ideate unique, innovative formats and concepts
• Research cross-industry innovation trends, and explore new possibilities with emerging and existing technologies
• Consistently pitch big ideas/executions
• Write scripts and/or social copy
• Proactively identify partnership and/or sponsorship integration opportunities
• Use editorial calendar as needed to tailor ideation
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong digital portfolio of published/released work
• 5-7 years' experience
• Excels in exploring and experimenting within undefined spaces, conceptualizing strategies that go outside the box
• In tune with sports culture, social media trends, meme culture and viral content
• Strategic understanding of how to engage target audiences
• Deep understanding of digital landscape, emerging platforms and latest technology
• Thrives at the forefront of the design and technology
• Understands millennial and gen-z audience
• Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment, developing ideas rapidly and iteratively
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to clearly articulate and sell ideas

• Hands on creation skills, ideally through design or technical development abilities such as front-end web development
• Ability to navigate from aspirational, lofty ideas to the realistic considerations and constraints
• Fluency in Social platforms - understand the functionalities of FB, TW, IG, SNAP, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE, TWITCH, and more
• A genuine love, excitement and fluency for the internet
