Job Description:
A little bit about our team:
The Promotion Department customizes and develops airplay strategies, creates promotional and marketing opportunities, fashions events and promotional tours, developing and exposing ADA label partner's artists and bands, including Asylum Label Group repertoire, across all the major radio formats with national broadcast companies, syndicated programming, satellite and cable platforms, in the effort to attain airplay and succeed airplay goals while breaking and developing our artists.

The position is responsible for setting up music, artists and bands at all formats focused on music meetings at Urban, Rhythm, Alternative, Rock, Hot AC, Triple A, and Top 40 radio across the West Coast predominantly.
Here you'll get to:
• Attain airplay on assigned repertoire daily/weekly – develop artists and find entry points at radio
• Contribute to multiple projects at multiple formats every day
• Manage and grow positive relationships with all format radio stations
• Create and forward opportunities on various single and album priorities
• Ambassador for artist and label partners to programmers and broadcast companies nationwide
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Ability to travel and close weekly – traveling about 50-60% of the time regionally
• Sirius XM National Platform Focus all formats – about 15-20% of focus and time weekly
• Ability to take direction and prioritize projects accordingly and work from the road
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize meaningful local presentations quickly at radio stations, mixer meetings and regular regional broadcast company summits
• Strategic thinker, creative marketer, ability to read a room, and won't take no for an answer
• Results oriented, self-motivated, and a can do it attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and get into radio stations daily
• Skillful in social media, promotion profile
• Ability to work in a transparent team environment
• Achieve major label results for independent label community
• Skillful in processing all the data and metrics available and using it to tailor strategy and garner airplay
• Exemplary in fast building industry relationships
• Aptitude in advancing business partnerships and dynamics
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Skill and experience in working and developing artists and bands
• Great radio programmer relationships
• 3-5 years regional promotion experience
• BDS/Mediabase proficiency and aptitude to utilize Shazam Insight, Soundscan, Music Connect and new industry technology, applications, and platforms to achieve airplay goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
