Why this could be your next big break:
• We are seeking an exceptional supervising producer to join our award-winning content studio. In this role, you will get to create both original and branded content, working in partnership with our creative team, production staff and talented freelance production crews. Our ideal candidate is both creative and logistics minded, skilled at handling multiple projects at once, has a strong network and history of working within the production community and has a proven track record of bringing value to clients while working within budget parameters to ensure financial profitability.
Here you'll get to:
• Will oversee multiple simultaneous productions, budgets, and plans. Including deliverables, approvals and feedback while managing project timelines and producers.
• Work to problem solve production challenges as they arise relating to budgets, logistics, schedules.
• Provide flexible, nimble decision-making, and inspire confidence in a rapidly changing environment. Including building trust with the team through collaboration and timely feedback.
• Lead internal communications with sales and account management teams throughout execution to ensure programs are being properly represented and client needs are being me while being mindful of program deliverables.
• Build and manage post-sale budgets of sold through programs, working closely with VP of Production and accounting team to ensure profitability.
• Work with creative team bid and plan original and branded programs that meet brand needs, reflect the WMX tone and voice and are feasible within timeline and budget parameters.
• Work with VP of Production and Bidding producer on scoping of projects in presale
• Act as a conduit between Field Producers and Studio leadership, providing updates and elevating situations if necessary.
• Hire and manage freelance production teams ensuring our content programs are buttoned up and handled from A-Z.
• Deliver projects on time and on budget while continuing to help WMX create the best content in the business.
• Collaborate with various WMX cross-functional teams to execute programs with the purpose of furthering client relationships, enhancing brand messaging and/or a variety of internal WMX goals.
• Understand and anticipate industry trends in production. Provide WMX team with strategic insights into these trends to highlight potential issues and offer process solutions.
Rockstar candidates will have the following:
• You have minimum 3 years proven experience as a producer
• Budgeting program/software experience
• Experience overseeing content for social platforms including Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tik Tok, Instagram and Snapchat
• You have impeccable project management skills with proven ability to lead teams
• You have communicating with clients in person and over email
• You have experience reviewing contracts
• You have a thorough understanding of all elements of production. Including crew and vendor negotiation and contracting, camera/lighting/sound gear, budgeting and scheduling, post production processes, permitting, locations, etc.
• You have the ability to create and oversee shoot schedules
• You have an innate ability to self-manage and organize a daily to do list and understand/execute priorities
• You have communication skills to help you work with various departments, multiple timelines/calendars in a fast-paced environment
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Experience managing Animation and AR/VR projects
• Experience managing experiential projects
• Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Keynote and Powerpoint
