Intern, Marketing & Publicity [Summer 2020]
Job Description:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after Marketing team at ADA/East West.
A little bit about our team:
We are a small and agile team at the center of all things marketing for the label services division of ADA. We work with the independent artists and labels that run through WMG.
Why this could be your next big break:
The right candidate will be able to learn all the basics (and more!) about strategically releasing independent records. With a roster of 10-20 active artists across all genres, we work hand in hand with managers and labels to set marketing goals with artists and work to execute them as a team. As the quarterback of each project, we sit at the intersection of radio, press, digital marketing & sales, brand partnerships and sync. This is an opportunity to flex both your marketing and organizational talents.
Here you'll get to:
You will work very closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing by sitting in on marketing meetings for each artist, learn how each department operates in conjunction with one another, report weekly on team goals and status updates, brainstorming around album releases and outreach to new marketing partners
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• You will like music and love marketing
• You will be personable, polite and have great email etiquette
• You will be organized and creative
• You will use every available resource and ask tons of smart questions
• You will be curious and engaged with clear goals about what you want to get out of this experience
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
Prowess for building marketing materials in Photoshop and FinalCut
