Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Director, Technology Transformation – Process and Integration
A little bit about our team:
Responsible for the Finance Technology Transformation from concept through to post-implementation continuous improvement and benefits realisation. This role must also ensure alignment to the overarching Global Finance Transformation journey across Warner Music.
Here you'll get to:
• Responsible for day-to-day management of the Technology Transformation initiatives and end-to-end delivery of the project life cycle
• Structures and manages the various IT workstreams of the Finance Transformation and ensures alignment with wider business dependencies
• Incorporate enterprise technology implementation experience to align team to software development best practices
• Early scoping and definition of critical path and project milestones to inform resource and third-party supplier planning
• Leads the development and tracking of the workstream components, related initiatives,
• Coaches and mentor project team members and partner with external resources to deliver on an aggressive timeline and ensure business value is achieved
• Manage related initiatives within budget constraints and facilitate high quality work
• Sets and manage the work plan, task completion and the scheduling of appropriately skilled internal and external resources
• Pro-actively manage issues and risk mitigation
• Embed appropriate governance structure and reporting cycles; embed appropriate escalation paths, unblock barriers, facilitate decision-making and update stakeholders
• Identify project team resource needs – capacity / capability gaps and resource plans to fill these – building and structuring a high-performing project team with clearly defined roles
• Manage third-party implementation resources and partner relationships with a view to ensuring internal capability and knowledge is retained by Warner
• Clarify and communicate project success criteria and measures; align executive stakeholders
• Recommend ways to resolve business policy and cross functional issues identified by the project team in partnership with the Executive Steering Committee
• Works with Executive Sponsors and Senior Leads to embed and develop a Global IT Finance vision and roadmap
• Report status to the Exec Steering Committee, Key Stakeholders and business
• Responsible for benefits realisation tracking and continuous improvement of people, processes and technology as it relates to the Global Finance Transformation Project
• Ensures the use product management best practices to deliver a successful product that drives real business value
• Create a positive and collaborative work environment within the WMG Technology team
• Develop strong and purposeful relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their appropriate participation in the project and resolution of their concerns
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Previous experience of Global Enterprise Software Delivery
• Day-to-day project management expertise associated with professional grade certifications
• Strong people leader – able to motivate, engage, inspire, empower and drive project team to deliver, dissolving conflicts and facilitating positive behaviours and team mentality
• Facilitator, problem-solver, excellent communicator
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects, building appropriate tools, delivering results
• Awareness of Global Enterprise Finance and Accounting standards
• Innate ability to create order out of chaos
• Exceptional multi-tasker able to prioritise and re-organise activities
• Excellent stakeholders engagement and influencing skills at all levels
• Demonstrates capability to understand technical issues
• Ability to handle simultaneous tasks and demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues and tasks to successful completion
• Intermediate-Advanced MS Office Suite (including MS Project) and other reporting/tracking tools / systems; JIRA
• Prior exposure to or experience in process re-engineering
• An appreciation of the wider challenges and opportunities associated with Global Transformations
• Change management skills and experience in a global program environment
• Robust and assertive, with strong influencing skills and ability to build rapport quickly
• Willingness to travel (at times extensively) over varying periods as dictated by project needs.
