Job Title: Latin America Regional Finance Head, Warner/Chappell Music

Will work closely with the President of Latin America along with his creative and finance teams while partnering with the CFO team at Warner Chappell.

Here you'll get to:
• You will work closely with the President of Latin America and his regional finance teams in running, reviewing, and consolidating the monthly forecasts, quarterly present views, and annual budget
• You will provide financial advice and support through financial analyses to all of the Latin America territories
• You will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and compliant with US GAAP and SOX controls as necessary for all Latin America territories
• You will review and approve monthly and quarterly financial reporting deliverables, including commentaries and balance sheet reconciliations for all of the Latin America territories
• You will monitor, along with Global Treasury, the bank accounts and cash flow of the Latin America region
• You will be responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and robust internal control in all Financial and related areas.
• You will oversee the preparation, audit and timely submission of statutory filings (including tax) for all Latin America territories
• You will review acquisition and deal models for all deals happening in the Latin America Region.

Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Professional qualification with a recognized global or international accounting body (CPA, ACCA etc)
• Ability to communicate in English, Spanish and Portuguese is required.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting, including exposure to Latin America finance operation
• Experience of data analysis with the ability to analyze complex information to provide insight and propose relevant strategic action plans
• Experience working in the media/creative sector would be advantageous
• Demonstrated understanding of Latin financial environment and best practices
• Experience dealing with complex financial accounting processes and procedures
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, financial management, investment banking, or, a satisfactory equivalent in related fields.
• You have knowledge of Excel and modeling
• You should be personable, easy to interact and work with and have good communication skills
• A business and/or accounting degree would be preferred
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to identify areas for innovation and suggest changes within the scope of the role
• Must be able to meet deadlines,
• You must be a self-starter, self-motivated, take responsibility for tasks, think outside the box and adapt to change easily. Demonstrate strong research, mathematical and analytical ability
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate the efforts of diverse Latin America finance teams to meet key timelines
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written across all levels of an organization.
• Proficient IT skills, working experience with Microsoft Dynamic Navision and Hyperion will be advantageous
• Technically strong on International accounting standards, US GAAP, controls and taxation knowledge
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Possess high level integrity, initiative and results oriented
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Sound presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to non-finance managers and senior directors
• Willingness to travel to local offices or corporate offices periodically for business meetings

While not required, music or entertainment experience and/or fluent in Portuguese would be very helpful
