At Warner Music Group, we're a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter. We are guided by four core principles that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:
• Music is Everything: Music is our passion, and we can never get enough. Tastes, trends, and tech will change, but great artists and songwriters will always be our driving force.
• Global Growth, Local Expertise: Music is a global language. Through communication and collaboration, our success can come from anywhere and translate everywhere.
• Innovation and Insight: Pushing the boundaries requires the best information and the boldest imagination. We use both to create the future.
• Empowered by People: Like the artists we serve and the music they make, our differences make us stronger. This is a place where every talent can belong and build a career.
We remain committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We know it fosters a culture where you can truly belong, contribute, and grow. We encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic or identity.

Programme Manager, Talent Frameworks
Background:
The pace of technology change, increased competition and consumer behavior is driving media and entertainment workforce challenges in talent, retention, upskilling, labor costs, the alternative workforce and the need to stay human. Building human connection, recruiting top talent, evolving leadership and rapidly upskilling and reskilling in a global, multi-generational, digital world, is critical to WMG thriving in the modern world.
We're solving for two key challenges:
1. How we retain talent and grow our people to fulfil their full potential
2. How we differentiate ourselves in the marketplace to attract and secure talent
WMG must solve for both these challenges.
People will decide to join, and stay, with an organization based on its value proposition, underpinned by talent frameworks that are equitable and which deliver impact to individuals and the business through its recruiting, learning, reward and talent/performance practices.
With these considerations in mind, we're now recruiting for a superstar Programme Manager to drive our Talent Frameworks project. This will be an 18-month assignment, based in our NY or UK offices.
Here you'll get to:
• Partner with the team to build the tools, programs, processes and policies that enable WMG to meet its people and business needs, ensure we've built the right foundation to execute on our talent management strategy, as well as boost performance. Identify and partner with appropriate vendor partners to help deliver the framework.
• Establish people data standards and consistency of definitions that translate across territories and business units/labels
• Job families and levelling - ensure all roles are consistently attributed to their defined job family;
• Create consistency in titles and levelling of roles across territories/business units
• Introduce governance and training over people data standards to ensure data accuracy and relevance on a continuous and consistent basis
• Ensure all people data is accurate and clean, so it can be used by the relevant technology solution
• Embed new compensation rules and technologies into existing Workday business processes
• Engage territories in the future strategy and offer centralized support to local decisions / policy development etc so that they can realize the vision
• Own the change management, communications and engagement plan and execution for the programme, leading on key stakeholder relationships to drive successful outcomes in partnership with Corporate Comms
• Manage third party vendor relationships as appropriate, holding partner(s) to account for their deliverables and tracking/managing the achievement of these.
• Deliver within budget constraints and facilitate high quality work.
• Collaborate with programme sponsors and business leadership to quantify, track and report on business benefits to ensure return on investment.
• Foster a collaborative, inspiring and impactful project delivery environment.
• Navigate change management challenges in partnership with Programme Sponsors.
We also envision the Programme Manager partnering with us to create the foundation for:
• Workday talent marketplace - connects jobs and job seekers, allowing managers to find the right skills for roles, projects, and temporary assignments
• Gigs app: A place for managers to create and manage short-term, temporary work opportunities (Gigs) and find the right skills-based internal resources
• Opportunity Marketplace app: A place for workers to view and get matched to gigs/internal full-time positions that grow their skills and career
• Promote: Enables opportunity owners to notify workers identified by machine learning as a good fit for an opportunity.
• Match Analysis: Provides transparency about a worker's relevant skills and gaps to both the worker and opportunity owner
• Anytime Feedback: Gig owners can also endorse a worker's skills, which are factored into future opportunity matches
Implementing the Basics delivers:
• Continuous consistency, governance and accuracy of people data
• Reduction in future resource (time and money) spend by removing manual workarounds
• Improves WMG visibility into internal talent, skills and capability
• Support to DEI and ESG work that is predicated on transparency of the data
