Process Transformation Specialist
A little bit about our team:
The Finance Transformation (FIT) Program team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to determine the best infrastructure and process design for an efficient, effective and sustainable future finance organization. The team will design future state, best practices, value add activities and technology enabling finance to be a strategic partner to a growth business.
Why this could be your next big break:
The Process Transformation Specialist will help ensure the successful delivery of the overall transformation portfolio and lead the design, development and support of the future state budget and forecast process. The role will touch many key areas of the business and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the global finance team.
Here you'll get to:
• Work closely with global internal stakeholders, and third-party technology partners to design and implement a standardized planning methodology and templates across WMG
• Design and build new budget and forecasting technology to deliver the following planning models: Revenue, Overheads, Capex, Workforce, Headcount, Balance sheet, Cash Flow, Cash Forecasting, A&R/Marketing.
• Design and build standard planning reports and dashboards to aid global business in the planning process
• Provide on-going support to the global business post go-live as needed during the planning process including trouble shooting issues as they arise
• Work with stakeholders to ensure Product / Policy / Process / Procedure / System decisions take account of territory variances and business needs
• Partner with global technology to identify integration points between existing systems and processes
• Partner with people and change management resources to develop job aids, communications and training approaches to embed new ways of working and systems training for the planning area
• Responsible for the resolution/review of planning issues, risks and business impacts for the owned process
• Proactively and on on-going basis identifies internal and external planning best practices that will enable improvement of the standard end-to-end process
Required candidate experience:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics
7+ years finance related experience with
• Experience in a global/complex company preferred.
• Ability to deliver value added analyses to senior management.
• Ability to work in fast paced, complex, global and dynamically changing environment
• Strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for driving transformation and change
• Ability to think strategically and act tactically
• A questioning, curious mind with a desire to continuously improve status quo
• Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, ownership of results and customer focus
