A little bit about our team:
The Creative Services department is here to super service our songwriters and media partners by creating new opportunities and providing the marketplace with commercial services and assets. The department works to not only repurpose our current assets, but create new copyrights through covers, IP development, and sampling. With team members in NYC, LA, London, and Amsterdam, Creative Services has a true global reach.
Why this could be your next big break:
The Creative Services intern would get a hands-on look at all the areas of publishing. From looking for opportunities for our songwriters to mining the library for ways to re-energize a catalog our intern will be able to learn about the entire scope of a songwriter's career.
Here you'll get to:
Assist with Creative Service projects not limited to podcasts, film/television development, theatrical development, and our covers initiative
Complete independent research on our current and legacy songwriters
Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in A&R, Business Administration, Legal, and Synchronization
Get a global look at publishing by working alongside territories around the world to match songwriters with exciting career opportunities
Learn project management skills as the team produces and executes small, mid, and large-scale projects
Create artist assists and distribute curated playlists across the team
Become knowledgeable in the latest trends within the music, media, and tech industries
Rockstar candidates will:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or Graduate Degree
Have at least one prior internship experience
Be a self-starter with a genuine curiosity for the music business
Able to commit up to 20 hours per week during the semester
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
It would be music to our ears if you also:
Proficient in graphic design
