Job Description:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after A&R team at Warner Music Group
A little bit about our team:
The Global Warner Music A&R Team operates out of the company's recording studios in Hollywood, CA. They are responsible for developing hit records for the labels biggest priority artists as well as scouting/signing new talent.
The team supports artists under all the Warner subsidiaries including Atlantic Records, Big Beat, Warner Records, Atlantic UK, Artist Partner Group, and other partner labels. We are passionate about songs, songwriters, producers, and artists.
Why this could be your next big break:
In this role, you'll be creatively and administratively supporting the global a&r team. This includes researching and funneling talent directly to the head of the label. You will also be helping in operational tasks that help in the running of our A&R, marketing, synch, and content departments. This role will give you a look into every facet of a major label.
Here you'll get to:
-Researching artists, songwriters, producers, etc.
-Reaching out and creating relationships with managers, artists, songwriters, producers, etc.
-Pitching on all the above
-Assisting in operational tasks related to A&R, marketing, synch, and content departments
-Creation and maintenance of research documents
-Potentially setting up recording sessions with new artists, songwriters, producers.
-Regular assistant duties
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
-You have garnered their own personal A&R experience be it at another label or in your own regard
-You exhibit your personal taste through passion and knowledge
-You have at least 1 year of music industry experience
-You have a dedication to paving a path to a career in the music industry
-You are of Sophomore standing in college
