Job Description:
Department Description: Business & Legal Affairs
High Level Job Description:
Executive Assistant; Report directly to the EVP of Business & Legal Affairs and General Counsel, Atlantic Records Corp. as well as provide general assistance to Business & Legal Affairs department.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Prepares, sends and tracks contract execution copies.
• Answers telephones, screens, logs, and places calls.
• Manages supervisor's calendar; schedules meetings and conference calls.
• Organizes Department Meetings
• Maintains legal files.
• Submits expense reports.
• Orders CDs, supplies, etc. for department
• Opens, records, and distributes mail.
• Undertakes internet research.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• General office work (i.e., word processing)
Required Competencies/Skills:
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
• Must be able to work well under pressure and complete tasks quickly
• Able to handle highly confidential information
• Extremely organized
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Exceptional communication & phone skills
• Takes initiative
• Goal-Oriented
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to adapt to changing circumstances
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Excellent computer skills (Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Prior assistant work
• Legal Experience
• Research skills & Internet Savvy
• Knowledge of the Music Industry
• Good Memory
• Follows directions and willing to learn
Education
Required:
• College Degree
• Administrative, Legal, or Music Industry Experience
