Job Title: Director of Marketing Catalog

Catalog is the next frontier to marketing artists for the streaming era. We work closely with all artists to develop streaming opportunities and evangelize those across the departments, thinking like an archivist and being aware of the artist's relevance with the larger music scene to deliver the right message to partners inside and out.
Why this could be your next big break:
The Director of Marketing Catalog Strategy position is a hybrid sales & marketing, strategy, and analysis role. In this role you will develop expert fluency with the Atlantic on roster catalog streaming business and increase artist exposure and driving revenues by highlighting opportunities, projecting revenues, sharpening best practices, and increasing awareness about the value of Atlantic artists' catalogs in a streaming only world. This role takes the new artist's careers, parlays with the history to keep their numbers going in a streaming/always on world.
Here you'll get to:
• Collaborate with the VP of Marketing Catalog, develop and execute on and off cycle catalog priorities.
• Review current catalogue streaming approach, identify opportunities, research trends, and communicate and collaborate with other internal departments.
• Develop analytics tool sets to identify where key Atlantic on roster catalog songs are appearing on the DSPs and identify pitch opportunities and catalog KPIs for catalog sales and finance.
• Develop on roster catalog budgets & forecast monthly
• Create and deliver weekly updates for all partners highlighting growth areas and opportunities on priority catalog and releases
• Look to new and current marketing partners for opportunities in the catalog space
• Run post-mortem analysis on catalog sales and marketing initiatives to evaluate success and develop best practices for 'streaming-only' world.
• Develop and create repeatable social, marketing tools for on and off platform with streaming accounts.
• Survey current Atlantic on roster catalog consumption landscape to identify catalog KPIs that reflect artist awareness and collaborate with Atlantic catalog team to craft ideas around juicing those KPIs.
• Understand the landscape of the artist's lifetime of current and catalog release with history, charts, social media and digital marking campaigns.
• Help drive catalog marketing echo effect on new albums and their anniversaries, milestones and associated evergreen events.
• Think like an archivist and be aware of the artist's relevance within the larger music scene to deliver the right message to partners inside and out.
Rockstar candidates will:
• Have strong communication and analytical skills to convey strategy and results
• Understand the digital landscape and marketplace
• Have experience in sales & marketing analysis
• Have catalog content & marketing experience
• Have Atlantic on roster repertoire knowledge
• Have strong organization, teamwork and time management skills
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• 5 years of music industry experience, catalog marketing preferred
• Experience with creative strategy leading marketing campaigns internally and externally
• Must be tech savvy with deep understanding of current & forthcoming technologies and general market trends
• Must be familiar with/able to navigate and distribute information related to analytic tools
• Must be creative, innovative, highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
