Job Description:
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after Business and Legal Affairs team in WMG's exciting new state of the art office in Downtown Los Angeles.
Job Title:
Coordinator, Business and Legal Affairs at Rhino Entertainment. Reports to SVP, Head of Business & Legal Affairs.

A key player on the team, this individual will support top executives and senior management within the Business & Legal Affairs department at Rhino Entertainment. Point person for the team, here you will liaise daily with a wide range of departments at WMG as well as many other record labels within the company. Rhino Entertainment is home to Music by some of the most iconic musicians of all time, think; The Doors, Grateful Dead, Love, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. Want to develop a one of a kind, behind the scenes understanding of the Music Industry while supporting a leader in the field? This could be the right role for you!
Here you'll get to:
• Manage executives' calendars, schedule meetings, arrange conference calls and travel, coordinate team meetings, ordering supplies, photocopying and answering phones, etc.
• Submit, track, & maintain travel and entertainment expenses
• Maintain and support the enforcement of office processes and procedures
• Maintain the Business Affairs filing system
• Draft correspondence
• Produce PowerPoint and Excel reports and charts as needed
• Research sales information and contract terms
• Maintain highly confidential or sensitive information
• Manage circulation of deal approval memos for executive signatures
• Prepare documents for contract execution
• Handle post-execution procedures for contracts
• Rally the internal assets of the company for the benefit of the team (IT, Office Services, etc.)
• Performing other similar tasks as requested
• Other special projects as needed
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities and styles
• Strong organization skills, excellent typing and proof reading, good follow through, excellent phone and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, strong work ethic
• Fast paced work environment requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and a high attention to detail
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of all standard computer programs (PC experience: Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet)
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with several executives
• Willingness to help executives maximize their own performance, to be a team player
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly; commitment to excellence and self-improvement
• Ability to communicate clearly and identify issues, without being prompted to do so
• Bachelor's degree required
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• 2-5 years' experience working as executive assistant, filing manager and/or legal assistant
• Experience developing office processes and procedures
• Former office management experience would be helpful
• Prior experience working in business and legal affairs and/or for a record label or other music or entertainment company is preferable, but not required.
