Warner Music Group often requires outside help on assignments, small and large, throughout our various business units. This job listing is designed for individuals interested and open to temporary opportunities within the New York office of WMG.

Temporary assignments are paid opportunities that span in different durations. Receptionist needs typically span between two days and two weeks. We often seek temporary workers for maternity leave coverages that last four to six months. Additionally, there are opportunities for temporary assignments to be converted into full time employment, contingent on the worker's performance.

As a temporary employee at WMG, you will have direct access to the goals of the business and grow your knowledge of the music industry and the department that you work in. Regardless of the temporary assignment duties and team, you will be exposed to key business leaders and be hands on in the execution of important duties that keep our business going.
Below is a brief description of the responsibilities and needs typically sought after in a variety of our temporary roles. Please note that a WMG recruiter will contact you regarding your application once a temporary need becomes available.
• Welcomes visitors, screens and directs phone calls/inquiries, processes expenses, schedules and coordinates domestic and international meetings, maintains all calendar items, coordinates domestic and international travel, processes incoming mail and correspondence, prepares outgoing mail, and ensures the office is always fully equipped and functions smoothly.
• Make and monitor conference room reservations.
• Provide administrative assistance as needed, i.e., updating spreadsheets, organizing invoices, etc.
• Special projects as assigned by department management.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• General computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess ability to handle strong and varied personalities with courtesy and tact
• Strong work ethic; high attention to detail.
• Work experience in an office environment helpful.
