Job Description:
A little bit about our team:
WEA Library Services consists of 10 individuals based in North Hollywood and Burbank, Ca. The team is responsible for storage and preservation of all WMG archival content stored in the US including audio, video, artwork photographs and printed documents. The Library Services team works closely with WEA Studios, Licensing departments and WMG Labels to facilitate source material needed for production and content licensing.

The WEA Archive Librarian is responsible for cataloging, researching and delivering archival content to WMG employees and authorized third-party requesters. This involves working with new release content in addition to legacy material for artists signed to Warner Bros., Elektra, Atlantic and other WMG Labels.
Here you'll get to:
• Catalog audio and video masters on modern and legacy formats
• Catalog artwork, photographs, merchandise samples and company documents
• Research audio and video content needed for production, remastering, licensing and other requests
• Research artwork and photo content for production and publicity use
• Assist with scanning of artwork and photographs
• Deliver digital files to engineers, producers, label contacts and third parties
• Assist with asset circulation including retrieval, check in, check out and re-shelving (requires carrying boxes up to 40 lbs. up and down ladders)
• Collaborate with international colleagues to locate and facilitate content
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Utilize audio engineering skills to facilitate requests and catalog assets
• Convert audio files and DAW sessions
• Identify modern and legacy audio and video formats and file types
• Apply excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide superior customer service
• Conduct database and internet research
• Utilize digital asset management systems
• Demonstrate organizational skills and acute attention to detail
• Utilize Mac and PC platforms
• Demonstrate intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Employ basic Photoshop skills for image manipulation
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• 2 years of music industry experience
• 2 years of audio engineering experience
• Basic knowledge in video production
