Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, Global Business Services for the EFS-Transformation & Service Management department.
This role will work as part of the Global Business Service (GBS) organization. This role will work alongside GBS Global Process Owners (GPO) across all functional areas (Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (OTC)), to optimize processes for the efficient and effective delivery of GBS services across WarnerMedia. The role will be responsible for the end to end delivery of projects designed to improve efficiencies and automation.
You will work across multiple areas and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of end to end projects, including process design, facilitating group discussions, managing deliverables, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to stakeholders. You will use your WarnerMedia finance knowledge, WarnerMedia business acumen and creativity to successfully navigate challenges and ambiguity to drive these process improvements to completion.
The Daily
• Support GBS GPOs, WarnerMedia/Capgemini with process efficiency analyses and proposed modifications
• Direct and deliver approved process changes across WarnerMedia/Capgemini operations
• Deliver approved process moves across GBS service locations to achieve standardization of scope
• Support GPOs in identifying process modifications required by change in business needs, new accounting policies, updated compliance requirements and legal entity changes
• Provide consolidated reporting to GPO leadership on process optimization projects, including benefits realization tracking (e.g., Headcount, Cost, Service Catalogues)
• Work across all GBS functional areas (R2R, P2P & OTC), focusing on best in practice processes and technology, employing automation and new technology/tools
The Essentials
• 7 years' experience in Finance and Accounting or Business Process/Finance Transformation
• Lead Finance Process Optimization projects
• Combination of experience and education in both accounting and management information systems
• Successful track record of development/delivery of complex solutions
• SAP and/or Peoplesoft usage experience preferred
• Experience driving process improvement within a Finance organization required
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
• International experience required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or MBA required
• Microsoft office suite of tools, expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio required
• Deep knowledge of Finance business processes – R2R, P2P & OTC
• Knowledge and awareness of finance business controls, including SOX
• Exemplary planning, organization and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully in a multi-cultural environment with persons at all levels of the organization, across all communication channels
• Experience training others in process analysis and improvement techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean Thinking)
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and proficiency in working with multiple Finance and Accounting customer groups across very large, global organizations
• Must be comfortable presenting to large/senior executive audiences, and must be able to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with stakeholders
• Must have excellent time management skills to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, high volume environment with and work well under tight deadlines
• Must be collaborative, team player, flexible and able to quickly adjust to changing priorities
• Must be motivated, a confident self-starter and able to work independently to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate discretion when managing confidential information
• International travel required as needed
