The Job
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Project Executive for the HR Services Operational Excellence department. The Project Executive, Project Management is responsible for supporting planning, directing, and other activities within the Project Management Office (PMO) functional unit of the Global HR Shared Services Center of Expertise (COE). This functional unit will be responsible for management and delivery of an integrated implementation plan, ensuring alignment across objectives and priorities of the functional units and COE as a whole. This position fosters relationships with internal stakeholders by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships and working collaboratively with other corporate and country level teams including HR, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Employee Benefits, Compensation, IT, and Finance. The Project Executive, Project Management is expected to support the Executive Director, Program Management in leading and facilitating discussions needed for project decision analysis including development and assessment of outcome scenarios and alternative options, robust go/no go decision criteria, value assessment, and investment implications. This position may be responsible for the coaching, mentoring and leadership of project team members and other individuals who provide day-to-day PMO support located in multiple locations. The Project Executive, Project Management reports into the Senior Vice President, HR Services.
The Daily
• Facilitate working sessions to support activities such as integrated planning and business case development. Lead compilation of templates and work with project team members/ individuals to complete deliverables.
• Support planning exercises to develop an actionable project plan and ensure clear project forecasting and resource utilization.
• Support development of the HRS roadmap and detailed activities such as analysis of project and/or functional performance against the defined project plan. Identify issues/ risks and/or optimization opportunities for discussion as appropriate.
• Support development of project management strategy, process, standards, deliverables, and operational cadence as needed.
• Track status of project budgets, Statement of Work (SOW) development, and purchase order and expense billing to ensure requested deliverables and targeted utilization is achieved.
• Coach and mentor team members (including project) to optimize operational excellence and foster a culture of collaboration by sharing relevant experiences.
• Support new business efforts as required.
The Essentials
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent discipline.
• CPA or financial background a plus.
• Good experience with continuous improvement (e.g., return on investment, optimization opportunities).
• 7 years of experience in project management or strategic consulting roles.
• Workday or other ERP implementation experience.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts.
• Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively anticipate problems and opportunities and confidence to use initiative to pursue solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good team player, flexible, and able to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to manage complex work within tight deadlines.
