Marketing Executive (Seoul, South Korea)
Department: Theatrical Marketing
Reports to: Senior Director, Marketing | Senior Marketing Manager
Purpose of the role:
• Creating POs and handling invoices and proof sheets of non-media activities
• Support for detailed planning of in-cinema promotion
• Prepare online publicity - e.g. translating interviews, vignettes
• Performing regular checks on the on-going online promotions.
• Check materials from home office and upload localized materials on Box and Adtream
• Update Mediapass
• Arrange screenings and check levels of engagement- preparing the wrap-report after the screening.
• Create content on social media
• Suggest and screen influencers for influencer campaigns
• Be a part of succession plan within the marketing team in the future
Main Responsibilities:
• Creating POs and handling invoices and proof sheets of non-media activities
• Collect and distribute advertising and publicity materials to localisation vendors to be distributed to press, vendors and platforms
• Review all ad/pub materials – audio, video and print materials localized by vendor. Share and discuss ideas and give ideas on how to localize it.
• Work with HO vendors to localise digital assets
• Arrange screening & promotion: Review screening plans and promotion suggestions. Do research about promotion related field.
• Arrange screening events: Book appropriate theaters and control screening files including seat allocation and get embargoes signed accordingly to the HO screening strategy
• Screening wrap up report: After the screening, check reactions and make a wrap report of them. And mail them to all members of WBPI Korea.
• Translate local web pages of each title, conducting reviews and identifying the portions to be flagged to WB online team.
• Checking if the online promotions are running properly and successfully.
• Creating content on social media; suggesting and screening influencers for influencer campaigns.
Job Requirements:
• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing
• Min. 4 years' experience in digital advertising, promotion & publicity
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Experience with advertising or entertainment industry is an advantage
• Be able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail
• Skilled at prioritising tasks and balancing multiple projects at a time
• Team player, well organized and willing to work under pressure and committed to get tasks done
• High proficient in Microsoft applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
