Full Time Job
Primary Purpose of Job:
• Assist the Distribution Director and General Manager with all matters relating to the theatrical sales/distribution business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare theatre line-up for General Manager and Distribution Director approval.
• Coordinate/confirm with exhibitors the theatres based on approved line-up/schedule, including terms and number & type of screens.
• Prepare copies of contracts. Follow-up signed contracts from exhibitors. Handle and safekeep contracts.
• Coordinate release strategy with exhibitors, including trailer placement, special shipments, anti-piracy measures, company policies, and all other related issues.
• Coordinate all bookings with checking agencies.
• Input all bookings into MACCS.
• Assist team members with MACCS issues, including reporting problems and communicating with the MACCS team in London.
• Process all digital key request orders (KDM-Key Delivery Message).
• Assist exhibitors in KDM-related problems by emailing/calling KDM providers.
• Coordinate digital hard drive shipment requirements with Operations Executive, exhibitors, and checking agencies; communicate shipping contingencies; monitor returned, and follow-up late return hard drives.
• Create and maintain databases – daily box office (MACCS), movie release schedules, theatre information details in ASK.
• Assist ITC (Financial Services) in weekly grosses, account reconciliations, monthly credit notes, collection/chasing of payment for aging accounts and pending BIR 2307.
• Submit CMDRF for newly opened cinemas with complete requirements to SDC.
• Prepare and/or assist the Distribution Director in various sales reports for Management, such as Weekend Reports through Quick-base.
• Analyse box office, theatre checking results, ticket prices, admissions, and key city/provincial market trends, and make recommendations, as necessary.
• Consolidate redeemed excess passes and billings.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
Qualifications
& Requirements:
• Integrity
• University degree with at least 5 years relevant experience
• Good oral and written communication skills, in both English and Filipino Tagalog
• Computer literacy in spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, email and internet
• Organised and detail-oriented
