Chief/Supervisor, Localization and Mastering (Japan)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Manage print logistics for WB features.
• Arrange/prepare internal screenings (OV, SUB, DUB) for Theatrical Distribution/Marketing
• Responsible to deliver feature release prints (DCP) to the print warehouse in good quality.
• Manage and supervise versioning: prepare subtitles and/or dubbed version for the feature.
• Check quality of all masters (SUB/DUB, 2D/3D/IMAX-Laser/Xenon/Dolby-Vision/Atmos, etc.)
• Manage feature print security.
• Manage all necessary processes to release the picture theatrically, such as import/export, EIRIN censorship, JASRAC clearance etc.
• Cooperate with Theatrical Distribution/Marketing for any technical support.
• Manage and supervise operation of WB Screening Room.
• Manage and forecast print cost.
• Remain up to date with industry trends and new technologies to perform the jobs listed above.
• Co-work with Tech Ops Japan Home Entertainment localization group to manage theatrical title production for DD/HE releases as well.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• College degree or equivalent required
• 1- 3 year work experience in the related field required.
• Knowledge/skills of/familiarity with:
• Japanese subtitling/dubbing creation
• Digital Cinema
• Theatrical Distribution
• Strong English language skills.
• Must be accurate with close attention to detail.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have good PC skills – including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Must be adaptable, agile, and flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
• Must be able to juggle and multi-task.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary
