New Line Productions, Inc. seeks an Executive Assistant II for the Theatrical Legal department. Under direct supervision, performs various business affairs and legal administrative duties.
Accesses legal forms from computer directory, inputs attorney changes, accesses provisions from other directories in the computer system, saves and edits as required.
Formats and types contracts, reports, letters, memos, etc.
Composes memos and correspondence for supervisor's signature.
Prepares expense reports/check requests and follows through to ensure payment.
Answers, screens, logs, and places phone calls.
Responds to inquiries from studio and production personnel, lawyers, and agents.
Opens, reviews, records, photocopies and distributes incoming/outgoing mail and faxes.
Maintains legal files and records.
Schedules appointments and meetings.
Regularly follows up on outstanding/unreturned agreements.
Orders supplies, books, prints, etc.
Performs other related duties as required.
What do we require from you?
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous entertainment/legal secretary experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have the ability to maintain legal database.
Must be extremely detail oriented.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
