Opportunity Overview
What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Financial Planning & Analysis department.
Maintain by title and by client tracking of POS for film catalog products, utilized for ultimates, monthly updates and forecasts.
Maintain forecast models as well as various sources and data feeds into the model utilizing SAP/BW and excel.
Research monthly actual vs. forecast variances and provide cause of change analysis.
Create and maintain POS decay curves and seasonality using Business Objects and Mediamorph.
Produce monthly management reports.
Key finance support to Digital Marketing and Sales teams providing analysis including:
Price sensitivities.
Break-even and what-if studies.
Post promotion bundles and singles analysis.
Maintain the monthly accrual process:
Review monthly accruals provided by accounting to ensure POS accuracy.
Extrapolate accrual to calendar month.
Support Theatrical Catalog Video Finance as trained back up person.
Assist in monthly submissions to WB Corporate (ultimates and forecast).
Other Adhoc projects, MIS support.
What do we require from you?
BA / BS degree, Finance or Accounting. If finance, must have solid understanding of financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
2 to 4 years in finance or accounting in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills required. Advanced Access/Word skills preferred (some VBA/macros experience desired).
Experience in data processing and consolidation required. Strong data management skills preferred.
Knowledge of entertainment industry By-Title revenue process preferred (VOD / PPV/EST business desired).
Large accounting system experience required (e.g. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft). SAP Business Explorer & Hyperion Essbase preferred.
Exceptional and demonstrable analytical and quantitative skills required.
