What part will you play?
Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.
Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long. To be eligible to participate in our internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
• Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
• Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is seeking an undergraduate intern for our Field Sales team. This internship is intended to provide meaningful and practical work experience to an undergraduate student interested in Sales for the Home Entertainment Group.
• Product Detail Page Updates: optimization and compliance of WB product on all Digital Client Platforms.
• Monitor title avails and pricing on the service.
• Check each of the product detail page on the site and audit that the changes have been implemented, report discrepancies.
• Make sure metadata is correct for returning product from window.
• Creative trafficking.
• Work with sales communication, creative, trade, and brand to traffic proper creative materials.
• Upload banner art and episode art to clients.
• Merchandising Efficiency Analysis.
• Capture screen shots on a daily/weekly basis of all our Promotional and New Release features on all digital client platforms.
• Track competitor trends on store and key promotions they are running.
• Create and log the merch. placement details and tie placement to promotional & New release activity tracking documents.
• Tie placement to sales performance : establish metrics and benchmarks to try and determine optimal promotional placement.
• Social Media Tracking.
• Track social media activity all broadband clients and WB and report.
• Performance Reporting / Retail Tracking.
• Aggregate weekly sales data and Category Management sales data for Warner content into a summarized KPI report by business unit.
• Perform ad-hoc sales reporting and analysis as directed.
• Monitor and capture pricing movement on key titles and promotional pricing compliance. Provide recap and list of action items.
What do we require from you?
• Pursuit of a college degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Information Systems, E-Commerce or a related major.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
• Must understand the nuances of social media.
• Passion for the entertainment industry.
• Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple and changing priorities.
