What part will you play?
When you open your favorite video streaming service, you're excited about watching great TV and movies. If you're also excited about the technology and data that make it possible, spend your summer as Digital Media Intern with Warner Bros. Worldwide TV Marketing. You will participate hands on in our Agile software development process, from design to testing to release. You will help manage metadata and media that shape the way our titles are described, presented and discovered on internal and external platforms around the world. In the digital world, design is about discovery and metadata is marketing. More specifically, you may:
• Work with the product teams to identify emerging requirements and optimizations
• Decompose strategic initiatives into features and actionable, testable user stories
• Test and document new code and features on our sites, apps, and APIs
• Analyze and share reporting data and subjective feedback to prioritize work
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot bugs
What do we require from you?
• Must be currently enrolled in a college degree or related trade school program
• Preferably pursuing education in digital media, software engineering, or media marketing
• Must have experience with Agile
• Must have basic understanding of how web sites and applications work
• Must have experience publishing for the web
• Must possess strong computer skills, including knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Must have familiarity with digital video and image formats
• Must have basic understanding of statistics and data analytics
• Must be able to quickly learn a variety of online tools and systems
• Must have excellent English communication skills
