Full Time Unpaid Internship
Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.
Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long. To be eligible to participate in our internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
• Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
• Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript.
What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Digital Networks Inc. seeks an Engagement Intern for the DC Digital Service department. Provide general assistance to the service engagement team in the planning and execution of ongoing fan engagement programs on DC Universe.
• Assist in engagement development and execution on social including identifying beats for engagement activities, support the community and editorial teams, and coming up with new ideas to increase engagement on service.
• Create engagement end of campaign reports – summarizing key learnings from engagement programs for distribution to core team and to key stakeholders across the studio.
• Asset Tracking: assist in the development and publication of key materials including assets for editorial, community, encyclopedia, and rewards programs.
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings across entire DC Universe cross-functional teams – as well as legal and operations as needed. Goal is to give intern an in-depth view of the day-to-day operations of the service while taking notes and providing status updates to all divisions.
• Assist in managing the service editorial engagement calendar for upcoming months. Duties include recording minutes from weekly meetings, updating calendar with new activities and sending out updates to all relevant parties.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including shipping packages, providing minutes from meetings and booking meeting space for presentations and meetings.
What do we require from you?
• Pursuit of a college degree in Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, Advertising, Business or classes, school projects, internships or work in the area of marketing or content production preferred.
• Understanding and affinity for DC brand, streaming services – comic knowledge a benefit but not essential.
• Strong experience and knowledge of social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat,etc.
• ?Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop preferred.
