What part will you play?
Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.
Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long. To be eligible to participate in our internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
• Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
• Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript.
The Contact Administration Intern will work with the Executive Director who will assign tasks to process television contracts, amendments and product notices using the COSMOS system for the following Sales Offices; China, Korea, Japan, Australia, Latin America and Canada. The position will require some liaison with Sales Administration in these Sales Offices. The position will also assist with rights and clearance checking, issue resolution and data entry. There may also be ad hoc projects from time to time assigned by the Executive Director.
• Assist with the preparation of contracts, amendments, product schedules and other legal documents using established templates for assigned territories and orders. Verify availability (rights and clearances) for product contained in sales orders and research prior sales history and deal terms. Resolve any conflicting clearance, sales, pricing or rights issues prior to document distribution.
• Verify licensing data in COSMOS and input contractual terms into system, as needed.
• Track status of documents from sales order through fully-executed agreement.
• Coordinate and correspond with Sales, Rights, Collections, Finance and Legal departments regarding contract administration issues.
• Maintain various records and files
What do we require from you?
• Pursuit of a college degree in political science, international studies, or related major.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
• Excellent written skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division.
