What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks a Business Systems Analyst (Project) for the Business Initiatives & Sales department. This position will assist in supporting enhancement projects for the following systems within WB Pictures: Domestic Distribution: MACCS, MMS3, TOBI and EIS.
1. End User Support:
-Will support the Division by triaging system problems as they arise. Including documentation of the defect and communication with the technical support team.
-Reports on test execution progress and defect status.
-Participates in defect management/ triage meetings.
-Provide support to develop the test plan scope, coverage and objectives.
-Works within the Project Team and test team to address issues and report status.
-Will provide support for end user training including developing training materials.
-Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports.
-Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality.
-Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
-Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
-Filter and ''clean'' data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
-Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
What do we require from you?
-Bachelor's degree required.
-Willingness to get hands on in terms of understanding, manipulating and analyzing complex data sets.
-Experience in manipulating data with Excel and Access, etc.
-Willingness to learn new software packages as needed.
-Confidence in interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
-Ability to work in a dynamic organization structure and influence without authority.
-Ability to deliver high quality outputs with a specific eye for detail.
-Ability to translate complex analytics into clear, concise actionable communications.
-Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
-Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, etc), databases, programming (Python, R etc).
-Experience in BA techniques such as process models and data flow diagrams is required.
-Distribution experience preferred.
-Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing activities and documenting issues.
