What part will you play?
The Analyst will be part of newly-established Workforce Analytics function to help create technology (i.e. Workday) driven solutions and best practices by leveraging data and insights to help HR leaders achieve their goals. Specifically, the responsibilities will include the following:
• Conducting and overseeing requirements gathering, functional analysis, design activities related to Workforce Analytics projects, Workday Reports and Dashboards development/implementation, and other ad hoc analysis.
• Developing training materials that help end users better utilize Workday reporting solutions and partner in change management/organizational readiness efforts.
• Partnering with internal team to automate or streamline data entry/collection processes to ensure the highest data integrity and to identify/document areas for improvement.
• Partnering with both internal and external clients to deliver analysis and reports, ensuring the business requirements are fulfilled, and serve as a backup Workday reporting and analytics resource to ensure optimization of all current and new operational reports.
• Assisting in building dashboards and reports, presentations, and visual aids used to facilitate the decisions of HR, Finance clients and business leaders.
• Assisting in developing reports in Workday and other business intelligence tools to analyze data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies.
What do we require from you?
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or quantitative discipline, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Experience in documenting data analytics and technical requirements.
• Experience with SQL, relational database, database management.
• Understands the functional and technical details, but can think strategically.
• Advanced skills in data analysis using database, spreadsheet, reporting software.
• Utilize discretion and judgment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Bonus points for:
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in Workday Reporting & Analytics; develop, build, implement reports and dashboards.
• Consulting experience with a management consulting/software company.
• Experience in HR system transactions, process improvement, and/or finance/accounting.
