Analyst, Content Operations - Digital Prod. Mgmt
What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Technical Operations Inc. seeks an Analyst, Content Operations for the Content Technology & Operations: Operations & Customer Support department. The Content Operations Analyst performs research of processes that support both the physical (DVD/Blu Ray) and digital content distribution operations teams. They are responsible to make recommendations for process improvement, as well as implement approved solutions. They will demonstrate superior knowledge of content delivery processes and best practices to ensure optimal servicing of content and various assets to our customers and clients.
This role assists in the identifying, analyzing and resolving complex issues/problems, and is required to assess and resolve non-standard/standard issues/problems largely on own initiative. They will use a combination of raw data, report data, and observations to drive their assessments. They interact with various levels of management around specific work efforts/deliverables and is required to share knowledge and experience with others. The role will work closely with both internal departments and external vendors to ensure we are tracking all necessary work in the tooling systems provided and that SLA's and KPI's are being monitored to track delivery and vendor performance.
-Research process flows and recommend improvements to optimize workflows and close process gaps.
-Help develop and monitor reporting/metrics to support vendor management and internal operations. Analyze data to identify performance trends and potential capacity bottlenecks. Troubleshooting and escalation for issues that impact team effectiveness.
-Create and maintain an overall Quality Assurance process roadmap for the servicing LOBs that require one (DVD/Blu Ray, GATOR order writing, quality checks for top clients, watermarking of digital files, etc.)
-Own knowledgebase for the team and associated projects as needed. Create and maintain department workflow documentation and job aid tools. Identify gaps where new documentation is needed.
-Other GCSS operational support tasks, as needed.
What do we require from you?
-Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience required.
-Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
-Six sigma certification preferred.
-Project management cert/experience preferred.
-Minimum 2-3 years experience in an operational environment.
-Experience with operational process improvement required.
-Basic reporting & analytic skills required - able to translate data points into an accurate narrative and recommendations for improvement.
-Film and video production/post production/content operations experience strongly preferred.
-Entertainment or other faced paced work environment experience strongly preferred.
-Knowledge/familiarity of various Digital Content/streaming services.
-Familiar with various methods and practices around content distribution.
-Knowledge of technical video specs including audio, subtitles.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
-Ability to work within customer support ticketing systems.
-Must be able communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, written, telephone).
-Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
-Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
-Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
-Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
-Must be punctual and have no attendance issues.
